<p>The 2006 Winter Olympics have helped to make this town famous for ski jumping and for cross-country skiing, with its extensive, well-maintained cross country area.</p>
<p>It is a medium sized ski resort with 8 ski lifts (1 gondola, 3 chair lifts, 4 surface lifts) that offers skiers an incredible 1200 metres (3937 feet) of vertical descent. Pragelato has 7 pistes. Pragelato is best suited for intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is a also a lot of terrain for beginners and experts too. </p>
