<p>The area has 150kms of piste, and although not all linked, there is a good bus service linking the various areas. Maria Alm is one of the largest villages, and has the main tourist office. It is a charming, typically Austrian-style place, with a lovely old church and pretty chalets. </p>
<p align="left">The Hochkönig is also covered by the Ski Amade lift pass - which opens up an enormous ski area for visitors. Zell am See and Kaprun area also within easy driving distance. </p>
