Chalet Le Prele
*** Available for select weeks in 2024/25 on a sole occupancy catered basis only. ***
Introducing our newest addition, Chalet Le Prele! This beautifully designed and spacious chalet occupies a peaceful position a short distance from the centre of Morzine, with a free ski bus stop just a few seconds from the door. For 2024/25 it will be our main Morzine base and we have availability for groups of up to 12 people at competitive rates.
Don't need a whole chalet? For a shared chalet experience please book on to one of our many Ski Gathering holidays at this property. Just visit our page on the Ski Gathering website to secure your space on one of our popular solo/sociable holidays. Spaces are sold strictly on a first-come first-served basis and we do sell out on the majority of trips.
To find a chalet that is both modern and traditional, spacious and yet cosy in an enviable location was a real coup. We can't imagine many nicer chalets to come home to after a hard day on the mountain and when you add in our catered chalet service and friendly team members it is sure to be a winner. The 5 bedrooms comfortably sleep 12 guests and the communal spaces are a cut above many other chalets we have visited. Outside the chalet there is plenty of parking space, views to die for and a nice private hot tub to soak away the aches and pains!
With convenient links to the skiing on both sides of the valley (Avoriaz and Morzine), tranquil surroundings and the old town of Morzine a short 10-12 minute walk away this chalet is perfect for everyone from beginners to powder hounds and from lovers of peace and quiet to party animals! Guests on our Ski Gathering trips will love both the facilities and the flexibility in arrival and departure times. With clear gaps in the diary between holidays we can offer early access on arrival day and the use of your room until late afternoon if you wish to ski on your departure day.

Our cuisine follows a simple philosophy; Hearty meals carefully prepared with fresh local produce
Sylvie, like most Belgians, is passionate about good food and has an excellent palate. She has put this to good use in order to create a menu which is a perfect blend of British, Belgian and Savoyard cuisine. The local specialities such as traditional Tartiflette or a classic French Onion Soup are an important part of our menus, but you will also discover some out of the ordinary dishes such as our Speculoos (caramelised biscuit) Tiramisu or the ‘Carbonades flamandes' (Belgian beef stew), interspersed with comforting British classics such as apple crumble and chicken pie. This is all washed down with free-flowing red and white wine (or a beer if you prefer!)
No meal would be complete without cheese and biscuits and a glass of port! We cook on 5 nights each week and our hosts have 2 days off. On the 5 evenings that we provide dinner we also invite you to join us for "Apero Hour" where our hosts will offer a different drink each day. We like to mix things up but don't be surprised to be offered a Kir Royale, a Bombardino, a G&T or perhaps a glass of Pastis!
