Midweek ski break to Samoens
We stayed at Petite Ourse for a midweek break and found everything to be first class and would thoroughly recommend Geeski to anyone thinking of booking.
The quality, service and value for money is excellent and will definitely be returning.

I cannot rate highly enough. Superb!
We stayed at La Petite Ourse at the beginning of Jan 2019, and found the experience nothing short of exceptional.
Our transfer from Geneva was quick and easy and on arrival at the chalet, we were welcomed warmly by Chris & Karen, with a light lunch laid out for us. The chalet itself is lovely, immaculately clean and a comfortable place to base ourselves, with a lovely view across the village to the lift to Samoëns 1600.
The hosts could not have been more helpful, and in the words of our 6 year old daughter, they were "very kind". They really made us all feel at home, and nothing was a problem for them. Our drop-off and pick up each day was on time, with no waiting around at all.
The next item that must be covered is the food, which aside from the skiing, was the highlight of our trip. Breakfast was a good selection of continental and cooked items, with plenty of each on offer. Dinner each night was amazing. I have never stayed anywhere where I cleared every plate, of every course, of every meal; however the food is so delicious and varied, that I managed it here. The selection for our daughter was equally as good, including make your own pizza and a chocolate fondue.
Overall our stay made for the best, most relaxing ski holiday we have had, and I will be coming back.
Thank you very much.

Fabulous catered chalet in Samoëns
We stayed in Petite Ourse in January. It’s a fabulous 2 bedroom chalet perfect for a family of 6 or two couples.
The transfers from Geneva were seamless. The welcome from Chris, Karen and the team was delightful - vin chaud and freshly baked cookies on arrival - perfect!
The food (breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner) was plentiful, varied and very delicious - the guys work hard and their attention to detail is exceptional. A particular favourite were the canapés and Prosecco before dinner - best we’ve ever had in a chalet!
The daily transfers to and from the lift were well organised and ensured any walking in ski boots was kept to an absolute minimum - always a bonus! Nothing was too much trouble for the team - from advice on the ski area, to help with ski equipment and booking a restaurant on their night off - they were simply charming.
Overall a fabulous chalet in a great position just a 5 minute walk from the beautiful village of Samoëns with perfect access to the Grand Massif ski area. We can’t wait to return.

Fabulous week in la Petite Ourse
We are just back from a gorgeous sunny weeks’ skiing in the lovely Samoens resort. Thank you so much to Chris, Karen, Amy and Adam who were amazing hosts. The chalet is gorgeous and perfect for a family of four, but what makes the holiday (especially for me) is the attentiveness of our hosts; from the lifts at different times of the day to just being in the queue for ski hire to help us along.
And as for the food... it’s excellent, our favs this year were the poached pears (Adam) and the Toberlone mousse! Amy’s Cakes were amazing and Karen was just so thoughtful and a master chef in the making.
We will be back for a third year no doubt, thanks again guys for a fab holiday.

Our family stayed at the lovely Petit Ourse for one of the last weeks of the season.
The chalet is very well maintained and Karen and Steph were fantastic hosts. Great food, very flexible and nothing too much trouble.
The transfers to and from Geneva were great and daily transport to the ski shop/bubble, whilst necessary, were really flexible and easy.
We will definitely book with Geeski again.

It was our first ever walking holiday. We weren’t sure what to expect.
The chalet was excellent, very clean, well maintained and in an excellent location on the side of the hill overlooking the town and with great views. We were lucky enough to have Petite Ourse all to ourselves.
Every morning we woke up to the sound of Karen cooking our breakfast which was different each day. We had choice of English or continental or both. We were driven each day to the start of our walk and agreed an approximate collection time and location.
The walks were of varying difficulty but even with our limited experience we had no difficulty finding our way. The scenery and views were stunning. The wild flower meadows, the waterfalls, the snow capped peaks and Mont Blanc in the distance all made for spectacular days walking. We walked between 5 and 10 hours each day and every day it was our choice of which walk to do.
On return to the chalet each day there was always home cake waiting for us. After long walks it was good to soak in the hot tub eating home made cake. Then at an agreed time Karen would return with Prosecco and Canapés to cook a 3 course meal. The food was amazing, she really knows how to cook. We don’t believe anyone would be capable of eating everything available. We don’t usually do full board but after a days walking (we were there in the the hottest, record breaking, week of the year) to have Karen as our own personal chef and hostess was incredible.
Karen made the difference between just a walking holiday and experience of a lifetime. She even organised paragliding on our day off from walking.

Petite Ourse - Even better than last year
This is our 2nd year with Geeski, and the excellent experience from 2019 was fully repeated, albeit with the finesse an additional year of experience provides.
From pickup at Geneva to the wave goodbye, we were well looked after by Adam, Amy, Chris and Karen, with amazing food, service, timely pickups and great atmosphere. The team played a huge part in our daughter agreeing to ski lessons ( which saw her improve drastically), and their kindness and overall cheerful attitude makes a week staying with them a pleasure.
I cannot recommend a stay with Geeski highly enough, and this is the perfect base to explore the Grand Massif and Samoëns.

We stayed at the Petite Ourse for a week at the beginning of February. We were four friends who wanted to be pampered by the chalet experience but preferred not to share a large chalet, so Petite Ourse was perfect.
Whilst it’s attached to the Grand Chalet it’s like having your own completely.
We were fantastically looked after by Karen, Amy, Adam and Chris. Nothing was too much trouble for them all.
Karen and Amy were amazing with their cooking and served us lovely food morning and evening (with great cakes in the afternoon). I am a lover of cheese but I failed to be able to eat the cheese course as I was so well fed by the canapés and three course dinners.
They organised our ski hire from a local shop and waited with us while we were fitted to ensure we we happy (Xtreme Glisses were excellent). The team also picked up our passes which were on the table when we arrived.
The chalet was very clean and well provided internally with Wi-fi and TV for our down time and of course a hot tub.
All in all a great place to stay. Thanks Team Geeski.

We stayed at the Petite Ourse in January. Karen and the team couldn’t do enough for us.
The accommodation exceeded expectations, the food was great and the drop off and pick up from the lifts each day was a welcome relief for tired legs. Thanks all at Geeski.
