Apartment A4 Le Choucas

Apartment A4 Le Choucas is a spacious and comfortable apartment in the luxury Les Chalets de Nyon complex completed in 2008 to a very high standard. The apartment sleeps six to nine guests in four bedrooms, ideal for two families sharing or groups of friends, with two pairs of bedrooms separated by an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. In the lounge there is a wood-burning fire.


The apartment is on the third floor of Block A with a ski locker on the ground floor to store skis, poles and snowboards and a lift to the third floor to access the apartment. The kitchen, dining area and outdoor terrace overlook the bottom of the ski run down from the top of the Nyon lift. 

Le Choucas is located around 1.5km outside of Morzine, and just 50m from the Telepherique de Nyon, making it an ideal ski in ski out option. The lift system takes skiers/snowboarders to the Nyon ski area from which you can ski/board to Morzine and Les Gets and return the same way to the apartment. For those wishing to travel to Le Pleney, perhaps for lessons, or to Avoriaz and onto the slopes of Switzerland for the wider Portes du Soleil area, there is a regular bus service into Morzine for the Pleney lift or the Super Morzine lift to Avoriaz. In addition, there is a bus service from Morzine to Les Prodains for an alternative way to Avoriaz. 

For those with cars there is a garage to park in although this is quite tight and most guests prefer to park in the large car park just 30m away. A car is a quicker way to access Avoriaz by driving to Les Prodains or up to Avoriaz where there is plentiful parking. 

The accommodation comprises four bedrooms with two shower rooms and one bathroom. Further details of the bedrooms are listed below but guests should note that the smallest room, which has two bunk beds, has no natural light and is located through one of the main bedrooms and the adjoining bathroom. 

The apartment benefits from a fully fitted kitchen, with electric oven and induction hob, an adjoining utility room with washing machine and separate tumble drier and the usual accoutrements of a well stocked kitchen. There is wi-fi and a smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, for those with subscriptions and a selection of DVD's.

There are four bedrooms, sleeping up to nine people.

- Bedroom 1: large bedroom with king-sized bed and a single bed and en-suite shower room with WC

- Bedroom 2: small bedroom with two single beds

- Bedroom 3: spacious bedroom with king-sized bed and adjoining bathroom with overhead shower and WC leading to:

- Bedroom 4: small room with two bunk beds, this room has no natural light and guests will share the adjoining bathroom with those in bedroom 3.

In addition to the en-suite shower room and bathroom mentioned above, there is a separate shower room and WC. 

The apartment suits two families with young children who can enjoy their own space separated by the lounge, dining area and kitchen. Alternatively, the apartment would work well for up to six adults. 

The open plan lounge area has one three seater sofa, one two seater sofa and an armchair, all of which are very comfortable, set up for guests to relax in front of a smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime links with those who have subscriptions. The TV is connected to a DVD player and the pine dresser holds many DVD's for guests' use. Free wi-fi is available.

The kitchen has fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, induction hob and coffee maker. An adjoining utility room has separate washing machine and tumble dryer with a high chair and travel cot.
