Les Arcs actually comprises 5 resorts, ranging from the valley town of Bourg St Maurice, with it's fast funicular link, to the uppermost at Arc 2000. In between are Arc 1650, Arc 1800 and Arc 1950.
The ski area is huge and varied, good for all levels of skier and snowboarder. Slopes vary from wooded runs in the villages of Villaroger and Peisey-Vallandry to high altitude skiing on the Aiguille Rouge glacier. The double-decker Vanoise Express cable car also gives easy access to La Plagne ski area, and this massive skiing area is aptly named Paradiski and offers 425km of pistes!
As part of the Vanoise National park, Les Arcs can offer fabulous scenery and loads of activities.
