| We're back from a great first family trip to Sainte Foy and keen to book in for next New Year straight away!
We loved our stay in Sainte Foy because:
- smaller resort meant we weren't hours away from our kids in ski school
- accom was only a few steps away from the slope, allowing us to go back home for a rest or lunch
- good priced lift passes, particularly for kids
- easy access to ski schools and ski hire
- we had a hot tub 
We're 4 adults and 4 kids (2x 7yr and 2x 10yr) looking for 3 or 4 bedrooms
We spent £3500 on our self catered accom for the week, and would be looking for a similar cost next time. We'd obviously pay more for catered accommodation.
We haven't booked flights yet, so are open to where we'd travel to, and could also do sunday/sunday breaks too

If you enjoyed the small resort vibe with great skiing, then try us next time. We can offer you sole occupancy of our cosy, well appointed family chalet in Morgins Switzerland from 27/12/25 - 3/1/26 for £2,900 all in.
We have 5 double rooms with 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite) and have indoor parking next to the door. We have a log fire and heated boot lockers, and there is also a south facing terrace, WiFi, UK satellite TV, and games.
Morgins is a pretty village in the heart of the Portes du Soleil and right on the border with France, 5 minutes drive from Chatel. We have been enjoying it for 15 years and believe you get the best of both worlds.
We are less than a 1½ hour drive from Geneva Airport and we recommend picking up a car for easy transfers, it's also useful for grocery shopping (beyond the 2 small supermarkets in the village) and popping to Chatel.
Skiing from the village is fantastic for all levels of ability. There is a new Gondola in the village (perfect for accessing the ski school and enjoying iconic views of the Dents du Midi) and there is a chairlift 50 metres from our back door which takes you up to the quiet slopes of Chatel on the French side. You can access everything the Portes du Soleil has to offer from the doorstep. We can also put you in touch with English instructors if you wish.
There are lift passes for different sectors depending on how far away you wish to ski. Our guests enjoy a 20% discount on ski hire.

We are in Samoëns which is a lovely working French village connected to the huge area of the Grand Massif and just an hour from Geneva.
L’Ancienne Scierie is a 5-7 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants of the village and 50 yards to the ski bus or a 2/3 minute drive if you have a car.
The price would be €3500 which is approximately £2900 which is for sole use of the place on a self catered basis. We have 3 bedrooms and have just had some clients this new year who were almost an exact match to your group in terms of numbers and ages so you can see what they said under the reviews section.

Chalet Namika is an independently family run chalet. We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing.
