There are relaxing hot tub and sauna facilities on the private sun terrace, boasting spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The open-plan yet cosy banqueting area lends itself perfectly to sociable dining, while the comfortable lounge features a wood burning stove. Each of the 15 large bedrooms are ensuite, with many benefiting from balcony access.

We would love to look after you at La petite buche, we do have availability for your dates. The chalet sits just below road, overlooking the river borne, it’s warm and cosy with everything you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a roaring fire, for those chilly nights.
The pretty mountain village of Le Grand Bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from. The telecabine to the slopes is a short distance away and gives access to some great pistes.
We are both chefs in Crete during the summer so you will be well fed, (specific dietary needs can be catered for with notice). Ski school, private lessons and transfers can all be organized for you, it’s your holiday.
Le Grand Bornand is only an hour from Geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike.
The price per person per night, bed breakfast, and a lovely evening meal (wine and beer included) is £75

We would love to give you a great holiday and can offer you one spacious twin, one triple bedroom and a single annexe half-board at 440€/pp for 4 nights from 25/1. The tariff includes breakfast, homemade teatime cakes, evening meals with wine. Chalet Châtelet is a unique owner-run catered eco chalet on the French/Swiss border of the Alpes set in a spectacular mountain panorama. We have a reputation for delicious food made with fresh, local and organic ingredients and personal service (see Trip Advisor).
On the first floor a special log stove heats the sitting room with huge comfy corner sofa. There is a flat screen TV, Sky+HD, and freeWiFi throughout the chalet. The chalet is in an acre of garden with parking for several vehicles, back off a quiet road. We can arrange in-house massage or reflexology and yoga sessions.
We are situated in the heart of the mountains on the edge of an authentic pretty village surrounded by ski resorts just over an hour from Geneva. Our local resort of Abondance is 5 minutes by chauffeured shuttle. As well as downhill skiing for all abilities, it specialises in ice driving, husky sledding, ski-joering with ponies, cross-country skiing and snowshoe trekking in complete tranquility. All French Portes du Soleil lifts with 650 Km of pistes are within 5-30 minutes of the chalet.

The chalet is in a great location with amazing ‘unrestricted’ views of the mountains, with the village centre is just short 'level’ walk away. The slopes and lifts located at the rear of the property, allowing you to ski back to the door(conditions permitting).
