Am looking for a family ensuite room in a catered chalet in France or Switzerland for a family of 5. Comprising of 2 adults and 3 children (aged 10, 8 and 5 years of age). A picturesque room view would also be ideal.
Ideally located within reasonable walking distance to the nursery slopes as all 3 children will be new to the slopes.
We would prefer the option that allows children to join adults at meal times if possible.
Open to most resorts, but would likely prefer resorts that have a shorter transfer time from local airports. We would not necessarily look to ski or board every day, so an option of a resort that has a variety of other family activities would also be ideal.
Our dates are fairly flexible, and can travel from any time onwards from the 8th of February 2020.

The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France. Fantastic for all levels.
Chalet Ski-Massif is at 1300m, off the mountain road from Samoëns (720m) up to Samoëns 1600, with uninterrupted views of valleys, mountains, pine trees and snow surrounding the chalet. An idyllic spot and a beautiful drive up and back to the slopes.
I will drop you at the top of a green/blue/red piste within 5 minutes of leaving the chalet - well ahead of people taking 40 minutes to come up from the villages. You can be ahead of the queues and half way to Flaine before the crowds have even put their skis on.
All you need to do is to book your flights. We'll help you with everything else: from transfers, passes, rentals, getting you to the slopes, lessons/guides, and any advice you'd like for the mountain.
This season I have an excellent chef who is passionate about food. Amanda will spoil you with her delicious freshly cooked meals while her husband Peter serves you a selection of 10 wines. Beers and aperitifs are also included.

If you will consider Austria we can offer you two en-suite rooms directly opposite each other in their own area here at Chalet Gove, in the pretty village of Lessach, from Saturday 8th to 15th February for a total cost of £2988.
Our price includes your transport from and to Salzburg airport (1.5 hours drive) and whilst you are here (we personally transport you in our minibus to activities, evening meal out etc., all to your timings), breakfast and afternoon cake each day and three course evening meal with wine on 6 nights and our help to organise everything for you. We are an English couple who have lived here for ten years and know the area well. There are lots of other activities available here; we have a lovely swimming pool less than 10 minutes drive, with indoor and outdoor pool and slide, there are lots of toboggan areas, horse drawn carriage rides, castles etc. and simply lots of areas to have fun in the snow.

Our chalet-hotel offers half board accommodation in snow sure Plagne 1800, part of the Paradiski area. We are next to the slopes and two chair lifts, with the ski school meeting point just across the street.
Facilities include:

Covered parking at the hotel is 50 euros a week but there is outdoor parking nearby if preferred. Eurostar travellers have just a short ride up the mountain to reach us so there are no lengthy transfers.

Our chalet is situated just outside of Vaujany, a small, authentic Alpine village with great amenities such as a swimming pool, bowling, amazing day care, an ice-skating rink and daily animations.
We are part of the vast ski area of Alpe d’Huez which is superb for people of all levels of skiing.
Our spacious lounge has a large log fire. On the ground floor we have a bar and dining room where James cooks fantastic three course evening meals.
The chalet sleeps 19 in 8 en-suite bedrooms of which; 6 double/twin rooms, one triple room and one family suite.
There is lots of space for everyone to enjoy their evening as they please. Whether it’s sat in the hot tub watching the sunset, reading a book by the log fire or having a drink in our bar.

We would love to look after you at La petite buche, we do have availability from the 18th. The chalet sits just below road, overlooking the river borne, it’s warm and cosy with everything you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a roaring fire, for those chilly nights.
The pretty mountain village of Le Grand Bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from. The telecabine to the slopes is a short distance away and gives access to some great pistes.
We are both chefs in Crete during the summer so you will be well fed, (specific dietary needs can be catered for with notice). Ski school, private lessons and transfers can all be organized for you, it’s your holiday.
Le Grand Bornand is only an hour from Geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike.
The price per person per night, bed breakfast, and a lovely evening meal (wine and beer included) is £75
