We are a group of 11 consisting of 5 adults and 6 kids (7,6,6,4,4,3) looking for a family ski holiday from 8th April (fixed dates) for 1 week.
Ideally looking for somewhere close the Geneva (flights booked) with a good late snow record. Must be family friendly and would like to be close to lifts and ski school (ideally 3hr ski school - we had this in Flaine last year but most places seem to be 2-2.5hrs?). Would also like to be able to walk to shops/restaurants if possible.
Budget is tight so under £400pp. Would consider catered or self catered as long as resort has a good late season snow record.

Catered chalet Dolomites is located in the buzzing traditional village of La Plagne Montchavin, in a great location at the foot of the piste and in the centre of the village with easy access for all amenities, including the recently opened swimming pool and aqua-centre. The property sleeps between 8-11 people in four bedrooms of various layouts over three floors – each bedroom has private shower and washbasin facilities (three rooms are en-suite and one is accessed from the corridor) and there is a WC on each floor. There is also a hot-tub on the balcony which faces south, overlooking the piste and the ski school snow garden. Dolomites is located just below the lift which carries you up to meet with the Vanoise Express link to Les Arcs – so you are conveniently located for skiing the whole Paradiski area of Les Arcs and La Plagne.

Samoens is a great resort for kids and we're just a 3 minute drive from the ski school and the new and improved children's ski area at Samoens 1600. The ski school does offer 3 hour lessons.
Our chalet has great facilities for children including a games room with pool table and table football, our own toboggan run and toboggans in our 10,000 m2 garden, we also have lots of games and DVDS for children.
We do exceed your budget at 550 euros per adult and 400 euros per child but it is catered and the food is very good.

We have availability at Chalet La Luge for those dates.
6 en-suite rooms, hot tub, sauna, separate TV/cinema room.
600m to the piste and nursery slope (and popular apres bar!) 800m to the resort centre. We run a drop off service every morning, and the free ski bus stops 100m from the chalet, so getting around is easy.
We serve cooked breakfast options on all 7 days, homemade cakes made every day, 5 course evening meals with good wines on 6 nights, earlier and simpler for the children on 6 nights.
2 ski schools, 3 hr lessons available.
North facing slopes, from 1500m upwards, late snow record is excellent here in La Tzoumaz, lifts opened at the weekend (same day as Val d'Isere in fact!) part of the Verbier ski area, but not the same prices!
1h 40 from Geneva.
We manage self catered chalets too, and have a suitable one available.

| We think Chalet Virolet and Les Gets would be perfect for you and we have availability for the dates you are looking for. We are an owner run chalet and aim to make your ski break the most comfortable and relaxing one you have ever had.
The price for 7 nights from 8th April is 695 Euros per adult and 595 Euros per child. This includes a daily breakfast, afternoon tea and 3 course evening meal served with wine (for 6 of your 7 nights).
