My wife and i are looking for a luxury catered chalet, one of us is non skier so swimming and other activities would be advantageous and we are looking for somewhere that has good snow and excellent cuisine/food.
If there is ski companion/guide available that would be great for the skier (skiing alone can be a little boring). We are looking for xmas week so can be flexible with arriving 22/23/24 Dec but would need to leave on the 30 Dec.

Our Chalet-Hotel Les Rhododendrons in snow sure Plagne 1800 is part of the Paradiski area, next to the slopes and two chair lifts taking you to pistes suiting all abilities. The ski school meeting point is just across the street from us.

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines and beer with evening meals.
Chalet Namika sleeps 16 people in either twin or triple rooms ( all en-suite )
There is a large lounge/dining area with a log fireplace and TV,
A soundproof Cine’ room with a large screen for watching DVD’s.
We have a hot tub on the terrace and a steam room on the ground floor.
Alpe d’Huez is the perfect setting for a great skiing holiday and can cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The chalet is a ten minute walk from the village, however only a 2 minute ski to the main chairlifts and gondolas.
There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.
Included in the price:
• Catering service including Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and a 3 course evening meal with complimentary fine wines and beer. (5 nights)
• Free WIFI and a sky television
• A private driveway for parking if you self-drive
• A Steam room and Hot Tub to help relax sore muscles.
