| Hi,
I'm looking for a ski holiday for either New Year or Feb HT (10th-17th). Would prefer chalet style and catered but open to options.
Most important is 2nd year of skiing with our 2 children (3 and 6) and so location must be kid logistic friendly i.e. easy access to ski schools etc.
Second priority is snow sure having seen the fairly bleak conditions last season (hopefully a one off but I'd like to minimise the risk).
I'm primarily just looking for our family of four but if there is availability within the accomodation we have some friends that may book seperately so the flexibility for this would be a bonus but by no means essential.
French Alps are our default choice but very happy to consider other options and also very happy to be in a small resort.

The price for 7 nights from 30th December 2023 is 1499 Euros per adult and 1199 per child. This includes a daily breakfast, afternoon tea with freshly baked homemade cakes and 3 course evening meal served with specially selected wines (for 6 of your 7 nights).

Location wise, the chalet is just 5 mins walk from the village centre with its many restaurants, bars and cafes and of course the main ski lift, Les Chavannes. We partner with a local ski/boot hire shop to make the equipment hire process as enjoyable (and well-priced) as possible for you. You can leave your kit at our ski shop every night, so the walk back to the chalet (and your après ski) is done without ski boots and skis!
We're also happy to help you arrange transfers to and from Geneva, give advice on lift passes as well as other activities to do during your stay.

On our website there's also a 360 degree tour – you can see all our bedrooms so there will be no surprises when you arrive!
Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. We have an on–site crèche, a games/movie room for teenagers, a hot-tub, sauna, massage room, private bar and five course evening meals for adults. All our rooms can be booked for seven nights half board or for short breaks.
Chalet Plan des Rochers is 80 meters from the hotel and can be booked for exclusive use or by individual bedrooms. Fully catered and staffed with the same standards and facilities as our hotel, Plan des Rochers also benefits from an excellent ski to door location.
Chalet des Amis is next door to Au Coin du Feu so can be used as a private chalet or as an annex to the hotel. It sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms, is ski to door and shares the spa facilities of the hotel. It has it's own private chef but there is the option of joining guests at Au Coin du Feu if there is space in the dining room.

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines and beer with evening meals.
Chalet Namika sleeps 16 people in either twin or triple rooms ( all en-suite )
There is a large lounge/dining area with a log fireplace and TV,
A soundproof Cine’ room with a large screen for watching DVD’s.
We have a hot tub on the terrace and a steam room on the ground floor.
Alpe d’Huez is the perfect setting for a great skiing holiday and can cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The chalet is a ten minute walk from the village, however only a 2 minute ski to the main chairlifts and gondolas.
There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.
Included in the price:
• Catering service including Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and a 3 course evening meal with complimentary fine wines and beer. (5 nights)

You can't get much better for family skiing than the Mountain Resort in Trysil, Norway - consistently good snow; great family accommodation - 2 bedroom apartments in an apartment hotel - choice of self catered or half board and flexible as well you can decide on arrival if you want half board on just certain nights. Chalet Marie Stuart is a lovely chalet with a games room with table tennis table, a sauna and external hot tub and 7 ensuite bedrooms. It is located between the Grand Massif Express lifts and the Vercland Express. We have a flexible private transfer service to and from the lifts or apres.
Samoens is a great traditional village and the lively centre with its shops, bars and restaurants is around 15 minutes walk from the chalet. Samoens is part of the Grand Massif and gives access to a great range of skiing (265km) up to 2500m height.
The lift from the village takes you to 1600m where the ski schools meet and the skiing begins with links to Morillon, Les Carroz and Flaine. The nursery slopes are at this level and its very convenient for you to ski from here.
The price with introductory discount would be £3538 for 2 ensuite bedrooms. This includes
