| | Looking for something central in a resort suitable for families and my children are beginners so need to have good beginner slopes and a snow park suitable for my 5 year old the others are 11 and 13. Don’t mind a catered chalet or a hotel although would like a swimming pool in close proximity or at least a hot tub. My wife is not a big skier so would like to be in a resort with plenty to do. | At a glance:- Looking for a holiday

We are The Lovely Chalet Company based in La Plagne 1800, a perfect snow sure resort for beginners. Chalet Marmotte is a newly renovated fully catered chalet, recently awarded 4 Stars with the WOW factor.
We’re a short 5 minute walk to the slopes on a quiet track offering magnificent views and a minutes’ walk from the bus stop offering free access around the resort. Partnered with Oxygene Ski School, they offer a pick-up service from the chalet which is perfect for beginners.
For 17th-24th February we have a family room and a single room available. The price is advertised as £1050 per adult and £945 per child, but we are pleased to offer a reduced price of £4,000. This includes bed, breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and a four-course dinner (with complementary wine and beer) on 6 nights. (Children's High Tea at 6pm)
Chalet Marmotte is styled and decorated to a very high standard with a vintage, modern rustic feel. Boasting underfloor heating, a wood burner, comfy sofas, we have created a wonderful cosy feel.

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines and beer with evening meals.
Chalet Namika sleeps 16 people in either twin or triple rooms ( all en-suite )
There is a large lounge/dining area with a log fireplace and TV,
A soundproof Cine’ room with a large screen for watching DVD’s.
We have a hot tub on the terrace and a steam room on the ground floor.
Alpe d’Huez is the perfect setting for a great skiing holiday and can cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The chalet is a ten minute walk from the village, however only a 2 minute ski to the main chairlifts and gondolas.
There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.

The Chalet is based in Montriond, 1km from the centre of Morzine in the heart of the Portes Du Soleil. The chalet has a hot tub, sauna, a beautiful sunny balcony and ample comfy space to chill with a second lounge for games or movie nights.
We offer a catered service with continental breakfasts, afternoon teas. On 5 evenings we will treat you to delicious 4 course dinners with unlimited wine and beer.
