| Hi Helen We’d love to welcome you to Chalet Sherpa in Morzine - just an hour and 20 minutes’ drive from Geneva airport and part of the massive Portes du Soleil ski region. You can arrive/depart any day of the week and any time of day. Chalet Sherpa has a fantastic friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The chalet sleeps up to 25 guests in 10 bedrooms. We provide holidays on a bed and breakfast basis - breakfast includes a choice of cereals, orange/apple juice, baguette, toast, butter/jams/spreads, yoghurts, croissants and also a cooked option with sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available all day. Our on-site Sherpa bar offers great value snacks and dinner every night from 6-10pm with BBQ's on wednesday and saturday and a 10% discount off food orders for our chalet guests. The chalet is in a great location - just an easy, flat walk to Morzine town centre (800m). The price per person for 7 nights is £180. | Hi Helen, How about our self-catered apartment in Huez, part of the Alpe d'Huez ski area. Budget option of 85 euros per night for the apartment which includes your towels, bed linen, and end of week clean. Huez is a really pretty village which comes alive in the Summer. The bubble lift (which works also in the summer and adapted for bikes) is just 200m away and takes you up to the main resort 5 minutes away. Alpe d'Huez has a vast variety of summer sports and the Oisans valley (a 15 minute drive away) boasts rafting, canoeing, and other white water activities. The apartment sleeps up to 5 people, and has one bedroom that sleeps 3, and a lounge/dining room which doubles up as a 2nd sleeping area with a banquette that has 2 proper single beds (one is stored under the other and raises to the same height). It is the first level of the chalet, which looks out onto the garden and the spectacular views beyond, and has: • Self-contained apartment with private entrance • Bedroom • Lounge/dining room with TV, UK Freeview channels, DVD player and PlayStation & games • Bathroom (shower, sink & WC) • Kitchen (dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave) • Free WiFi • Free parking • £750/apartment/week (or pro rata) The chalet is a mile from the village centre, and only a short hop on the free shuttle bus which stops nearby.
