Request: France - for 4 people, from 2/3/2024 to 9/3/2024

I am looking for what should be expected to be a snow sure resort in the first week of March. I will be myself and my partner and our two daughters, 9 & 6 years. Currently I am trawling the web for a place to stay in the three vally area or Tignes / Val D, mainly as that is the areas I know best and are obviously reasonably high. We will need to be able to stay in two beds rooms or the same room. I hope to book to soon. Thanks John

Hi John,

We would love to welcome you to our Swiss chalet, La Bergère, this winter!

La Bergère is located in the beautiful Val d'Anniviers, a hidden gem in the Swiss Alps, 2 hours from Geneva Airport. There are 220 kilometres of quiet, snow sure slopes, mostly between 2000 and 3000 metres in altitude, set against a backdrop of iconic peaks.

The chalet has been renovated to a high standard, providing comfortable accommodation and spectacular mountain views. It is situated in a traditional and picturesque village 10 minutes from the slopes of Grimentz-Zinal and St Luc-Chandolin, all covered by the same ski pass. A free ski bus stops 100 metres from the chalet and we can also offer a lift to the slopes.

The price for 7 nights from 2nd March would be 850 Swiss francs per person (child discount also available) in 2 twin/double rooms. Included:

Hearty breakfast each day - hot option on 6 days

Hi John,

We have availability that week, though if you look on our website it does show the 8th as not available but that is us using it so we could slip a day if you want it those dates.
Samoens while not guaranteed snow in the valley, the bubble takes you straight to 1600m, so should be plenty at that altitude and that is where the ski school is as well.

At the moment and until the 15th November the Grand Massif ski passes are discounted by 20% and the 6 year old will only cost 29 euros for the week. The ski hire is also on offer from at least two of the ski shops and they offer lockers if you want to leave gear by the lifts rather than lugging them home.

Samoens is one hour from Geneva and great for the family

The apartment is self catered but there are plenty of restaurants a 5-10 minute walk away if you don't want to cook.
