Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We currently have availability for the week of 30 December - 6th January if this suits you, but we may be able to offer you a mid-week stay from 27th, if this is your preferred arrival day.
All 6 rooms are en-suite, either with super-king double bed or 2 twin beds.
There’s a boot / ski room with warm air heated boot warmers, a jacuzzi on the terrace with magnificent views, sauna.
Cooked breakfast options on all 7 days, there’s homemade cakes/biscuits on all 7 days and a 5 course evening meal with good wines on 6 nights, earlier and simpler meals for children, who will enjoy the separate TV room. And of course a suitably festive feast with champagne to welcome in the New Year.
We run a drop off service every morning leaving you free to come back when you like, as the free ski bus stops 100m from the chalet; the slopes and very popular après bar are 600m from the chalet, and the resort centre with various bars and restaurants, the main gondola (you ski down to this from the slopes by the bar), sports shops, supermarket etc.
All skiing from 1500 to 3300m, great skiing on our quieter and gentler slopes but directly linked with Verbier and the rest of the 4 Valleys.
