Location: Morillon, The Grand Massif, France | Hello, we have 2 en-suite rooms available at our lovely catered chalet. The rate includes, breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner with unlimited wine each eve.
We’ve a hot tub, log fire, WiFi, and are just 1 hour from Geneva. The chalet is in the picturesque village of Morillon with access to 265km of slopes including the other resorts of Flaine, Les Carroz, Samoens and Sixt.
The rate per person was £749 per person, but we have a 15% off offer on this week so the rate is £636 per person. With all food and drink included it’s a cheap way to have a ski holiday as the price of food and shopping in resort is expensive if you’re self catering.

We are The Lovely Chalet Company based in the snow sure resort of La Plagne 1800. Chalet Marmotte is a fully catered chalet with 5 ensuite bedrooms.. Newly renovated and recently awarded 4 Stars it has the WOW factor.
We are a short 5 minute walk to the slopes, situated on a quiet track offering magnificent views over the valley. We are just a minutes’ walk from the bus stop offering free access around the resort, giving you alternative skiing options as well.
For the week 3-11th February we have two twin rooms available. The price is £950 each but we would be happy to discount the price to £3,000 for all of you – great value for money! This includes bed, breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and a four-course dinner (with complementary wine and beer) on 6 nights. (Most of our competitors in La Plagne offer dinner/breakfast on only 5 nights.
We have styled and decorated Chalet Marmotte to a very high standard with a vintage, modern rustic feel. Boasting underfloor heating throughout, a wood burner, comfy sofas and a hot tub we have created a wonderful cosy feel for you to enjoy.
Our hot tub has stunning views from our balcony across the Tarentaise Valley and our The White Company dressing gowns will keep you warm!
Rich and I own the chalet as well as act as hosts; we live in La Plagne throughout the year and as a result we have a great advantage over our local competitors as we know the area intimately. We do not employ staff, it really is a family affair! We would love to welcome you to Chalet Marmotte.

Our second The Lovely Chalet Company offering is our elf-catered apartment perfectly located in La Bergerie, a delightful small apartment block in the heart of the charming village of La Plagne Montalbert a perfect snow sure resort in the huge Paradiski domain. The apartment is just yards from the gondola, shops and restaurants. Whilst it is self catered, there are many excellent restaurants for you to enjoy each evening, including Union featured in the Michelin Guide! Making this self-catered option excellent value for money.
Apartment 12 has 2 bedrooms, a double room and a bunk room with an additional single bed and sleeps up to 5. There is a bathroom (with a bath, shower, vanity unit) and separate toilet. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is light and spacious with spectacular views overlooking the village and Tarentaise Valley.
We offer Sunday changeovers which allows guests to enjoy cheaper flights, transfers and avoid the busy Saturday traffic – helping keep costs down for guests during the more expensive month of February! The apartment is available for the week Sunday 4th – Sunday 11th February and Sunday 25th February – Sunday 3rd March both weeks are priced at £1,000, offering great value for money.
We live in La Plagne throughout the year and as a result we have a great advantage over our local competitors as we know the area intimately. We can offer advice and assistance with all aspects of your holiday and you can order your lift pass through us too!

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines and beer with evening meals.
Chalet Namika sleeps 16 people in either twin or triple rooms ( all en-suite )
There is a large lounge/dining area with a log fireplace and TV,
A soundproof Cine’ room with a large screen for watching DVD’s.
We have a hot tub on the terrace and a steam room on the ground floor.
Alpe d’Huez is the perfect setting for a great skiing holiday and can cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The chalet is a ten minute walk from the village, however only a 2 minute ski to the main chairlifts and gondolas.
There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.
