We are looking for a chalet over New Years for between 6-8 friends from Australia, ideally in France but not a requirement. We would be interested in a catered chalet for a reasonable price, but will also consider self-catered.
We are all aged in our late twenties and very excited for a holiday together skiing.
My partner’s family has used this platform before as her cousins are from France, so we are keen to share the catered chalet experience with our friends / their partners who have not done it before. We are all keen skiers so will spend most of our time on the slopes and there are limited dietaries (only one dairy allergy), so hopefully catering should be easy.
We are flexible with dates and location, however, would like to keep our budget as limited as possible.

Piste Bleue is a brand new chalet apartment situated in the heart of Morzine and within walking distance of bars, restaurants and ski lifts alike. This beautiful new buildsleeps 8-10 and boasts 4 en-suite spacious rooms including a family suite (separate bunk room off the main bedroom) , a stunning open plan living and kitchen area, and a large terrace complete with a hot tub to sooth those aching muscles after a full day on the slopes.
The location of Piste Bleue really is perfect for access to both the Morzine / Les Gets and full Portes Du Soleil ski areas. The Pleney lift is less than 100m from the front door, and the Super Morzine lift is only a 7 minute walk. There is also a bus stop on the main road right by the apartment so you have the possibility of getting the bus to the Ardent or Prodains lifts if you prefer an alternative route up to Avoriaz. The central location also means that the majority of the fantastic bars and restaurants that make up Morzines town centre are right on your doorstep.

We are an owner run chalet just a few minutes drive from the both Morzine-Avoriaz and Les Gets. Although not walking distance to the lifts, we can offer a flexible transport service to and from the slopes each day (1km away).
Recently renovated to a luxurious standard, the Hideaway offers:

We have a self-catered apartment just outside Morzine which has four bedrooms, an en-suite bathroom, en-suite shower/WC and separate shower/WC which may be suitable, certainly our children who are in their late 20's use it a lot with their friends. As you may know Morzine is just 1hr 20mins from Geneva airport.
You can find details of the apartment on the attached link. The apartment is 20 mins walk from Morzine town centre so the bars and restaurants are not far away. Most importantly, the apartment is just 50m from the Telepherique de Nyon lift which takes skiers up to the slopes of Nyon which is connected to Morzine and Les Gets. For those who are more adventurous there is a bus service which takes skiers to lifts up to Avoriaz and the extensive Portes du Soleil ski area and into Switzerland.

We have a 4 bed, 4 bathroom self-catered chalet, in Châtel village in the French Alps, part of the Portes du Soleil, located just 90 mins from Geneva airport. The chalet sleeps up to 10 people.
Room 1 – double or twin or single + ensuite (2 pp)
Room 2 – double or twin or single + ensuite (2 pp)
Room 3 – double or twin or single + ensuite (2 pp)
Room 4 – double or twin or single + bunk beds + large bathroom (4 pp)
The bus stop is opposite the chalet. With 650km of slopes to choose from it's one of the largest linked ski resorts in the world. This includes access to Avoriaz 1800.
We are a 5-minute walk from the village bars, restaurants, supermarket and bakery. The chalet has a well equipped kitchen with a slow cooker etc. We also offer a log fire and outdoor hot tub with stunning mountain views. We have a large driveway with space for 4 cars. Home-cooked frozen meals can be bought and ordered in advance from Peak Eats.
We rent the chalet Sun - Sun. Price for your week starts from €4,500.
Ski hire equipment and fittings can be arranged in the chalet. Private transfers from €270 or shared transfer only €55 per person, one way with Châtel Transfers.

Chalet Marie Stuart is a lovely chalet with a games room with table tennis table, a sauna and external hot tub and 7 ensuite bedrooms. It is located between the Grand Massif Express lifts and the Vercland Express. We have a flexible private transfer service to and from the lifts or apres ski although there are a number o walkable bars
Samoens is a great traditional village with real alpine charm and the lively centre with its shops, bars and restaurants is around 15 minutes walk from the chalet.
Samoens is part of the Grand Massif and gives access to a great range of skiing (265km) up to 2500m height. The lift from the village takes you to 1600m where the ski schools meet and the skiing begins with links to Morillon, Les Carroz and Flaine.
The price with discount would be £7000. This includes
