| We’re looking for accommodation for two families (4 adults, 2x 9yr old, 2x 6yr old) for our first family ski trip.
We have flights to Geneva, and would like to be within a couple of hours for transfer.
With lots of beginners and skiers who haven’t skied for a while, we don’t need a mega-sized resort - cheaper lift passes in a smaller resort would actually be a benefit!
Walking distance to ski school and lifts or minibus service would be required - we don’t want to be shepherding kids on buses.
Catered would be ideal, but would also consider self catered.
We have a budget of around £5000 for catered, or £3000 for self catered

We are an owner run chalet just a few minutes drive from the both Morzine-Avoriaz and Les Gets. Although not walking distance to the lifts, we can offer a flexible transport service to and from the slopes each day (1km away).
Recently renovated to a luxurious standard, the Hideaway offers:
- 2 x Large ensuite double rooms
- 1 x Large quad room with adjoining bathroom (with option for 5th bed).

Ski hire is also available provided by a local hire company, who come directly to the chalet to kit you out on your arrival.
We can also help arrange lifts passes, airport transfers and ski lessons.
The price for that week on a sole occupancy basis would be 875€ per adult (750€ per child) including slope transfers and catering (breakfast and evening meal with wine)

Chalet Marie Stuart is a lovely chalet with a games room with table tennis table, a sauna and external hot tub and 7 ensuite bedrooms. It is located between the Grand Massif Express lifts and the Vercland Express. We have a flexible private transfer service to and from the lifts or apres ski.
Samoens is a great traditional village and the lively centre with its shops, bars and restaurants is around 15 minutes walk from the chalet.
Samoens is part of the Grand Massif and gives access to a great range of skiing (265km) up to 2500m height. The lift from the village takes you to 1600m where the ski schools meet and the skiing begins with links to Morillon, Les Carroz and Flaine.
The price with discount would be £7,200. This includes
Private transfers within resort each day to and from the lift stations.

We have a 4 bed, 4 bathroom self-catered chalet, in Châtel village in the French Alps, part of the Portes du Soleil, located just 90 mins from Geneva airport. The chalet sleeps up to 10 people.
Room 1 – double or twin or single + ensuite (2 pp)
Room 2 – double or twin or single + ensuite (2 pp)
Room 3 – double or twin or single + ensuite (2 pp)
Room 4 – double or twin or single + bunk beds + large bathroom (4 pp)
The bus stop is opposite the chalet.
We are a 5-minute walk from the village bars, restaurants, supermarket and bakery. The chalet has a well equipped kitchen with a slow cooker etc. We also offer a log fire and outdoor hot tub with stunning mountain views. We have a large driveway with space for 4 cars. Home-cooked frozen meals can be bought and ordered in advance from Peak Eats.
We rent the chalet Sun - Sun - price for your dates oveer New Year 2025 start from €4,500.
Ski hire equipment and fittings can be arranged in the chalet. Private transfers from €270 or shared transfer only €55 per person, one way with Châtel Transfers.

We have a four bedroomed apartment ideal for two families with two pairs of bedrooms on either side of an open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen. We have just relaunched the apartment on Chalets Direct and currently have an offer for the New Year week.
The apartment is just outside Morzine which is around 1hr 20 mins from Geneva and is just 50m from the Telepherique de Nyon which takes skiers up to the slopes of Nyon which is linked to Morzine and Les Gets. For the more adventurous, there are lifts and buses from Morzine up to Avoriaz and the wider Portes du Soleil region and into Switzerland.
The apartment is 1.5km outside of Morzine and I am conscious of your request that you want to walk to the ski school but the bus service literally has a bus stop 20m from the apartment which takes passengers to the ski schools and the Pleney lift to the meeting points.
The apartment is self-catered but is a very reasonable price when compared to others.
