Bulgaria and Andorra offer great skiing at affordable prices.
The Grandvalira (Andorra) ski area is made up of 6 main sectors with a linked ski area of 210km of piste, which is the largest ski domain in the Pyrenees. All of the ski terrain is over 1700m elevation and there is something for all ability levels from beginner to expert, with 3 freestyle parks and off-piste. Andorra is more affordable than the Alps, with a beer in the village costing €3.50 and a meal with wine costing around €20. On the slopes, lunch with a drink is around €15 Euros per person and a hot chocolate is around €4.
Bansko (Bulgaria) is a charming town with plenty of history and a vibrant apres-ski scene. The town and the mountain are both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Bansko has the best snow record in Bulgaria and with 75km of tree lined pistes and 80% snow making coverage, Bansko attracts skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.
The week of 6/7th April is £300 per person in Bansko on a fully catered basis which includes airport transfers, free spa use and unlimited beer and wine with dinner.
In Andorra it is 476 Euro per person for half board and includes one glass of beer/wine with dinner.
