We are The Lovely Chalet Company based in the snow sure resort of La Plagne 1800. Chalet Marmotte is our fully catered chalet; newly renovated and recently awarded 4 Stars it has the WOW factor.
Situated on a quiet track we are a 5 minute walk to the slopes. We are also just a minutes’ walk from the bus stop offering free access around the resort, giving you alternative skiing options.
For the week 2-9 March we have a twin room available. The price for the week is normally £850 per person, though we can reduce this to £500 for your 4 nights. This includes bed, breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and a four-course dinner (with complementary wine and beer) each evening. Your 4 night holiday will also allow you to travel away from the busier weekends.
We have styled and decorated Chalet Marmotte to a very high standard. With a wood burner, comfy sofas and a hot tub we have created a wonderful cosy feel for you to enjoy.
Our hot tub has stunning views from our terrace across the Tarentaise Valley and our The White Company dressing gowns will keep you warm!
Rich and I own the chalet as well as act as hosts; we live in La Plagne throughout the year and as a result we have a great advantage over our local competitors as we know the area intimately. We do not employ staff, it really is a family affair! We would love to welcome you to Chalet Marmotte.

The chalet is a beautifully renovated 18th century farmhouse with traditional features and full of character. The chalet’s eight en suite bedrooms are split over 3 floors. Features a log fire, balcony with views of Morzine, ski/boot room, sauna, sunken hot tub, free Wifi, large car park and garden.
I can offer you en suite twin room for 1400 Euros which works out 700 Euros per person.

4th largest and in the top 3 snow sure ski areas in France. Samoens a traditional Haute Savoie village forms part of the Grand Massif top lift station 2500 meters, 5 villages linked by genuine blue runs offering over 265 kms of groomed pistes.
Situated in the picturesque alpine village of Samoens. Only 400m to the Gondola and Church Square and just 1 hour from Geneva.
Chalet Giffre is owner run and has a great location. The original farmhouse in the village with a private courtyard offering off road parking and the village on your doorstep. Our private mini bus service, we take you to The Grand Massif Express Gondola in under a minute which takes you to the mid station at 1600m the central location of the Grand Massif Ski Area. In the afternoon we can collect you from 3 different lift stations in our valley.

Resort transport. We are 5 minutes from the lifts of St Gervais and Megeve, 15 minutes from those of Les Contamines and 30 minutes from Chamonix. Our 4x4 transport is available throughout your stay.
We charge a further £25 per person if your departure time from the chalet exceeds 12 noon on the last day.
