The ski area is very important as whilst my other half is quite confident I am still a nervous beginner after 2 previous ski trips, so I am looking for a resort lots of gentle greens & blues, with no steep drops either side as also scared of heights!
I am looking for somewhere with good private tuition in English plus nice east beginner lifts, magic carpet etc. Preferably the chalet would be in a traditional pretty village with a few bars etc but nothing too rowdy! | At a glance:- Looking for a holiday

We have the perfect place for you to stay. We have recently renovated a unique property in the National Park area of Peisey Nancroix, situated in the heart of the huge Paradiski region of Les Arcs and La Plagne. Surrounded by towering peaks and cross country trails outside the front door, we are an 8 minute private minibus shuttle from the pistes of Vallandry.
The tree lined pistes of the Peisey Vallandry area are perfect for you to practice on, you would have to take a chairlift up to the beginner area but you can also come down on it too, and when you're ready for more you've the whole of Les Arcs and La Plagne to explore. Skinewgen are an award winning British ski school, contact them for more details on the tuition and ski area.
We've been running catered chalets for 20 years now with fantastic reviews (search for Seventy3 on TA). Caz is a highly experienced professional chef from New Zealand and creates fantastic menus for the chalet. We have 3 well appointed rooms with under floor heating in the ensuites. Downstairs you'll find a private dining room for guests and a small 25 seat restaurant that opens 4 nights per week.
We have availability from Sunday the 29th of March, taking advantage of the quiet pistes on Saturdays and quiet roads on Sundays. Catered accommodation is 700 euros per person.

| Chalet Jamais Bleu is a cosy alpine retreat, with an outdoor hot tub on the terrace and unbeatable location right on the Moretta Blanche piste in La Tania.
The double height living room has enormous windows, meaning plenty of light and space as well as stunning views. Decorated with inviting sofas, fur cushions and vintage Savoyard décor, the chalet feels warm and comfortable.
The spacious twin/double bedrooms are made extra comfortable with feather duvets and pillows, fluffy towels and toiletries.
The service
After a day enjoying the incredible Three Valleys skiing, soothe any aches in the hot tub then sink into the comfortable sofas and unwind with a glass of bubbly while your hosts create an indulgent dinner
The open bar includes beer, house wine, sparkling wine and soft drinks, with hand-picked wines especially chosen to accompany each meal. Nespresso coffee and chocolates are served around the log fire. A hearty cooked breakfast and home-baked afternoon tea treats are served during the week.

The resort
La Tania is renowned for being a good value resort from which to ski the celebrated Three Valleys. With a friendly atmosphere and good apres-ski venues as well as restaurants ranging from good old pizza to Michelin-star dining, the village attracts young families and groups of skiers and boarders.
I know a number of patient, English speaking instructors. There's skiing for all abilities in Courchevel.
