| Hello, we are a group of adults looking for a catered ski chalet for New Year. We would like to be near the slopes and amenities, and would like a resort that suits beginners/intermediate skiers with a short airport transfer.
We require 3 en-suite rooms and a hot tub if possible! We are happy to have a sole occupancy chalet or share with other guests. We would like to keep the cost low but would still like a little luxury.

Our spacious, owner-operated chalet is part of a beautifully renovated farmhouse in the French Alpine village of Sixt Fer à Cheval, 75-minutes from Geneva airport.
Sixt is one of the 5 resorts of the Grand Massif, and our chalet is in a beautiful spot 200m from the Sixt slopes, with an excellent beginners area, mountain restaurant, ski pass office, ski school and ski hire; and a 5-10 minute drive to a choice of ski lifts accessing the rest of the ski area. A unique feature of Sixt is a picturesque 14km ‘home run’ - the Piste des Cascades - from the summit (in Flaine) to Sixt, close to our chalet. Our outdoor hot tub has stunning mountain views.

Chalet Nordchamp is only an hour from Geneva airport, so nice short transfer times. The ski area is the Grand Massif - 265km of awesome skiing - both in the tree-lined villages and high-up above the tree line in Flaine (2,500m). We hate walking in ski/board boots and reckon guests do too, so we offer a free minibus shuttle for lift drop-off & pick-up.

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines, draft beer and spirits with evening meals.

Alpe d’Huez is the perfect setting for a great skiing holiday and can cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The chalet is a ten minute walk from the village, however only a 2 minute ski to the main chairlifts and gondolas.
There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.

Chalet Grande Etoile is a traditional classic chalet situated in the main street of the old town in Alpe d'Huez. The open-plan living and dining area has a comfortable, cosy, home-from-home feel. The superb central location of the chalet means that you are close to the shops, restaurants and bars plus the three main lift systems within two minutes walk. The chalet has been finished with alpine furnishings with a modern twist, a style which continues in all of the en suite bedrooms. The wellness area is a superb spot to relax in after a great day on the mountain, and don’t forget to relax on the balcony which, along with some of the bedrooms, enjoys superb views of the valley. With storage for your ski equipment and heated boot dryers, Chalets Grande Etoile is a popular choice and early booking is recommended.
As all rooms can be configured either as twin or king-sized beds, we will make them up as twins unless we are advised otherwise.

Have you checked out the Grand Massif ski area? We are located in Samoens one of the villages of the Grand Massif, we don't have the big British tour operators and still manage to retain the real French ski resort charm. We have 265km of Piste and new for the 2017/18 season Europe’s longest and fastest lift opening up a brand new 42hectre bowl to play in. For convenience we are also only 50mins from Geneva, less then a minutes walk from the ski bus and only 3 minutes to 3 major lifts (we run private courtesy shuttles to the lifts)
We get your day started with a full breakfast including pastries, cereal, eggs, bacon, fruit, tea coffee and juices. When you come back from the slopes we will have a homemade cake. Chalet Gaillard has 5 bedrooms and the living/dining area is open plan with great views up to Mont Vallon. After a hard day on the mountain you can sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine whilst you wait for a delicious dinner to be served.
There's no hot tub I'm afraid but the chalet is situated very close to the centre of Meribel Mottaret, with plenty of restaurants and bars. It’s a very short walk to the slopes and the nearest lift is about 300m away.
The Three Valleys has excellent ski-ing for all abilities. The Meribel Valley has great, well thought out beginner areas plus plenty of blues and reds and Mottaret has a fantastic new beginners/intermediates area right on your doorstep. There’s fast access to both Courchevel with its vast open pistes and interesting couloirs, and Val Thorens, known for its high snow sure slopes.
The price for 6 people, sole occupancy for 30 December to 6 January is £7,760
We provide gourmet food starting the day with a hearty breakfast. On your return from the slopes there will be a homemade cake or biscuits for you to enjoy and the evening starts with canapés and cocktails followed by a relaxed and delicious 3 course meal with unlimited, quality, wine.

Chalet Elliot (La Tania)

Elliot is the ultimate chocolate-box chalet, constructed with reclaimed timbers from an old Russian farmhouse and lovingly rebuilt in the Alps – the landlord tells us you can still find the bullets of the Russian Revolution in the timbers, but we have yet to locate these! The property consists of two identical wings – East and West – each of which has four twin en-suite bedrooms to sleep eight people. The wings are booked individually but if you book both, we can open the door in between for a larger group of up to 16 people. Each wing has A ski room with electric boot warmers and an outside hot-tub. Just a few minutes from the gondola lift and centre of La Tania, it is possible to ski in and out through the trees and the official piste is just a short walk away.

In our minibus we will take you to the ski lift and pick you up when required.
A stay with us includes:

We have availability in Chalet la Ravine, Les Gets between 26th Dec - 2nd Jan for €750 per person.
The chalet is a five minute walk from the town and ten minutes from the lifts, and we offer daily transport to and from the slopes.
Les Gets is just over an hour away from Geneva airport and is linked with the Portes du Soleil ski area, giving you access to some fantastic skiing for all levels in both France and Switzerland.
The price includes:
~ 1 en suite room and 2 with a shared bathroom
