Set amidst magnificent scenery at the foot of the Bischofsmütze mountain and Dachstein glacier, Filzmoos is a typical Austrian village with many facilities close at hand.
Gentle nursery slopes, conveniently in the village centre, are ideal for beginners and the central 'Papageno' six-person gondola gives access to marvellous descents directly down to the village.
Wherever you ski, the slopes are usually uncrowded with virtually no lift queues.
